3 camps and 5 reasons to visit this year

A new decade has begun and we cannot wait to see what the next 10 years have in store for us. We hope to share our slow safari philosophy with many new friends along the way. Here are our top 5 reasons why 2020 is the year of safari...

5 reasons to visit in 2020

The future of travel...

1. SLOW SAFARI

Having founded our concept of 'slow safari' a little over 10 years ago, we are thrilled to see that it's currently the trend in tourism today. Be present. Be invested. Be light on the ground. Travellers are staying in one place for longer.

2. TUSKERS

Little Chem Chem is home to some of the greatest tuskers in Tanzania. Our low impact and respectful practices mean the elephants found here are relaxed, coming close to the vehicles for incredible, and truly connected sightingswith big herds.

3. FAMILY TIME

There is nothing better than getting away with the people you love and cherish most. Take time with loved ones this year with a private experience at Forest Chem Chem for an entire safari experience your way and camp for up to 8 adults & 2 kids.

4. CULTURE

At Chem Chem Lodge, guests can learn about the Maasai by joining one of them for an outdoor activity or by listening to their song. A rare opportunity to learn how the local population has survived by living so close to nature in Tanzania for hundreds of years.
