Little Chem Chem is reopening

A message from the owners of Chem Chem Safaris - Fabia Bausch and Nicolas Negre. Escaping to Africa has never had this much appeal. As our borders begin to open up and flights resume their routes to Tanzania, we look forward to welcoming you back to Chem Chem.

From 1 July 2020, Little Chem Chem will open and as demand grows, we will reopen Chem Chem Lodge and Forest Chem Chem. Since March, Nicolas has been based in camp co-ordinating the protection of the concession areas, working with the communities and preparing our teams for the reopening of our camps.

As we restart our safaris, we are implementing a calm and sensible approach, without compromising safety, to COVID-19 management which safeguards you and our team, while ensuring not to negatively impact the very experiences and 'slow safari' we have become synonymous with...

What does a calm and sensible approach look like?
With only 5 tents and 1 family tent, we feel comfortable opening Little Chem Chem with the following new added extras...
