An elephant never forgets
Finally, a piece of good news in conservation and wildlife protection. For the first time in 30 years, a breeding herd of elephants was spotted at Chem Chem Lodge! An ancient Tanzanian migration corridor was declared extinct. But, 10 years ago Fabia and Nicolas began on a journey to rehabilitate the area through The Chem Chem Foundation ensuring it did not collapse.
This week, the first herd of breeding elephants arrived at Chem Chem Lodge from Little Chem Chem!
We are truly amazed, deeply touched and humbled. Without your support, we could not continue to achieve our vision.
Each of our guests and generous donors make a contribution to protecting the Wildlife Management Area, and we are truly grateful. To see these gentle souls once again tread well worn paths is a moment we share with open hearts.
There are a number of ways to get involved with The Chem Chem Foundation to help us continue this invaluable work. Click here to download more information on how to get involved.
